Located in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture, Arimafuji Country Club is a 72-hole, par-71 course set within a sprawling 800,000 square meter landscape. Opened in October 1965, the facility was designed by Tsuneo Uchigaki with renovation supervision by Sozaburo Nishi. The inward nine introduces more strategic variety, featuring the short par-3 thirteenth at 153 yards and the challenging par-5 fourteenth at 472 yards. The course rating is listed at 70.2 from the regular tees, indicating a layout that demands precision and distance management. Green complexes are constructed with bentgrass, requiring players to navigate significant undulations. The facility includes a 70-yard driving range with ten bays, as well as putting practice areas located near the first and tenth tees. The club operates under a strict dress code and local rules designed to maintain the integrity of the course conditions. The layout is structured to test golfers through a combination of length and strategic hazard placement, rewarding accurate approach shots and careful course management.
