Arbroath Golf Links is a traditional Scottish links course established in 1887, located near Arbroath in Angus. The course features design work by three Open Champions: Old Tom Morris (original 1877 design), Willie Fernie (1907 updates), and James Braid (1931 redesign). Playing to a par of 68 from the back tees and 70 from medal tees, the course presents a deceptively challenging layout with flat-appearing fairways concealing undulating greens.

Key characteristics include over 70 bunkers, with particularly penal Braid bunkers, three burns crossing toward the sea affecting eight holes, and an out of bounds threatening the first seven holes plus the 13th and 18th. Dunes run the length of the seaward side, making wind a constant factor. The course appears relatively open but demands precision with its strategic hazard placement. Notable features include breathtaking North Sea views and the clubhouse overlooking the 18th green with an adjoining beer garden. Open year-round, Arbroath Golf Links offers a historic championship links experience suited to golfers of varying abilities.
