The 18-hole, par-72 layout is divided into two distinct nine-hole sections: the Out course, known as the Tsunominé Course, and the In course, known as the Tachibana Course. The facility is positioned near the Shin-Ōtaniyama Tunnel, accessible via National Route 55 or the Tokushima Nanbu Road, and offers views of the bay that is locally referred to as "Awa no Matsushima."

The Out course is characterized by relatively flat terrain and wide fairways that allow for powerful, open drives. It features a mix of long par-5s and shorter par-4s, with the 9th hole serving as a signature long par-5 measuring 574 yards from the back tees. This hole is noted for its wide fairway, though players are advised to favor the left side for safety, and it presents a large green that requires careful putting to avoid three-putts. The front nine generally rewards distance, with the 1st hole offering a 563-yard par-5 that doglegs to the right, demanding accuracy on the approach shot. In contrast, the In course is more strategic and demanding, featuring water hazards, valleys, and elevation changes that require thoughtful shot placement. The 11th hole is the standout signature hole, a 418-yard par-4 that plays downhill with a water hazard guarding the green. Success on this hole requires a precise tee shot to avoid the water, as a missed approach leaves a difficult long shot over the hazard. The course design emphasizes mental discipline, with hazards and doglegs punishing errant shots more severely than on the front nine. The back nine concludes with the 18th hole, a 500-yard par-5 that offers a significant scoring opportunity. This hole features a relatively flat, elevated green with minimal undulation, allowing players who execute safe shots on the first two drives to attack the pin with a short iron. The course includes various yardage markers and flagsticks to assist with distance control, and the layout is designed to test both power and precision, balancing the open nature of the front nine with the tactical challenges of the back nine.
