Located in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, Bizan Country Club is a mountain course set against the backdrop of Mount Bizan, a prominent landmark in the region. The 18-hole, par-70 layout spans 5,672 yards from the tees and was designed by Okazaki Kogyo Co., Ltd., with construction by Obayashi Corporation. The course opened on March 22, 1976, and is operated by Tokushima Bizan Golf Co., Ltd. The terrain is characterized by its mountainous setting, offering views of the Shikoku Sanroku clear stream and the Tokushima Plain. The course features a single green, which is a Korai grass variety. The layout is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned golfers, with a total course area of 600,000 square meters. The course is divided into an out and in nine, with yardages varying significantly between the regular and back tees. The front nine includes a par-3 third hole at 148 yards and a par-3 eighth at 172 yards. The back nine features the course's longest hole, the par-5 13th, which measures 491 yards from the back tees, and a short par-3 15th at 139 yards. The course is open year-round, allowing for play in the early morning and dusk hours. Bizan Country Club is a member of the Japan Golf Association (JGA), the Shikoku Golf Union (SGU), and the Tokushima Golf Association (TGA). The club regularly hosts various events, including member-visitor mixed competitions and seasonal festivals. Its location, approximately 20 minutes by car from Tokushima Station, provides convenient access for both local players and visitors from the Kansai region.
