Amanzimtoti Country Club

Amanzimtoti Country Club is an 18-hole par 70 golf course located on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, approximately 30 minutes from King Shaka International Airport. Originally established in March 1915, the course is situated in a scenic coastal setting that appeals to both experienced golfers and holiday visitors.

The course features a user-friendly layout suitable for golfers of varying skill levels. Hole 1, Mahogany Drive, exemplifies the course design with an elevated tee offering expansive views, a generous fairway with strategic bunkering, and tree-lined protection on the right. The opening hole presents a moderate challenge with difficulty rated at 2.5 out of 5, measuring 449 meters for men (par 5) and 426 meters for women (par 5).

The course accommodates both casual rounds and competitive play, with the club hosting events such as the annual Bridge Day tournament. Beyond golf, Amanzimtoti Country Club operates as a conservancy and offers venue hire facilities, positioning itself as a year-round destination for individuals and families.
