Pike Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located near York, England, situated approximately 2 miles southwest of the city center off the A64. The course measures 6,212 yards with a par of 71.
Established in 1904 as Knavesmire Golf Club, it relocated to its current site in 1946. The layout features tree-lined fairways built around Askham Nature Reserve, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. The course incorporates natural wildlife habitats, with deer, squirrels, rabbits, and various bird species frequently visible during play.
The design presents a challenging variety of holes with differing lengths of par 4s, par 5s, and par 3s, requiring strategic course management and precise shot-making. Water hazards include two ponds and a dyke running from Askham Bog that impacts multiple holes.
