The Christmas Open AM/AM Shotgun Start takes place at Prestatyn Golf Club on Sunday 29 November 2026. This is a 4-person team competition (AM/AM - Amateur/Amateur) open to both gents and ladies. The event uses a shotgun start with tee times from 08:00 to 11:50 in 10-minute intervals. Entry is available online via the club's booking system. Visitor entry fee is £30.00 per team (member price £15.00). Golfers must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard. Normal Golf Union of Wales dress code applies: no denims, no football/rugby tops; tailored shorts are permitted. Golf shoes with soft spikes are required. Cancellations must be made more than 14 days before the competition date to receive a refund.
