The TGN Invitational (Team Great Northern Invitational) is an open 18-hole team competition held at Great Northern Golf Course in Kerteminde, on one of Denmark's most scenic and challenging golf facilities. The format is 4-person bestball with the 3 best scores counting per hole. Entry fee is 5,000 DKK per team of 4 players. The day begins with breakfast at 08:00, followed by a putting clinic with a Team Great Northern tour player at 08:45, warm-up on the driving range at 09:15, and a shotgun start at 10:00. On-course events include 'Beat the Pro' on holes 9 and 17, and players can purchase an extra shot on hole 13 from a Team Great Northern player. The day concludes with lunch and prize presentation at 15:30. All tournament proceeds go directly to player development within Great Northern Golf Club. Entry deadline is Friday 25 September at 12:00. Entry is via the GolfBox online link.

Great Northern Course is an 18-hole championship layout stretching 6,775 meters, designed by the renowned American architecture firm Nicklaus Design. Located in Kerteminde, Denmark, the course is integrated discretely into the surrounding natural landscape, offering a world-class golfing experience that respects its environment. The course features par 72 with a challenging design characterized by Nicklaus Design's signature elements: large, sculpted bunkers, strategically positioned water hazards, and precisely laid greens that reward intelligent play and accuracy. Great Northern Course has been recognized as one of Northern Europe's most well-executed and meticulously maintained golf courses, and is ranked among Europe's finest. The terrain includes significant elevation changes throughout the round, making it physically demanding. The course offers multiple tee positions accommodating various skill levels, from GN I (6,347m) for single-digit handicaps to GN III (5,242m) for higher handicaps. An accompanying 9-hole Academy Course is also available. The design emphasizes strategic shot-making, with bunker placement and green contours requiring thoughtful course management from golfers of all abilities.
