The 2026 Spring Classic is a three-day golf event at Barmera Golf Club running Friday 6th to Sunday 8th November 2026, open to visiting competitors who are made temporary members of the club on competition days. Friday 6th features a casual 4-ball better ball warm-up over 9 or 18 holes at $10 per player. Saturday 7th offers Men's and Women's 18-hole handicap strokeplay events at $35 each, with men graded A (0-12), B (13-19) and C (20-36) and women's grades dependent on entries; the best five gross scores after Saturday's play are invited to a four-hole Skins playoff before the Saturday night two-course dinner ($50). Sunday 8th features Men's and Women's Stableford competitions at $35 per player (Barmera members $20). Trophies are awarded to winners and runners-up in all events, with major trophies decided on net scores and only one major trophy per player. Maximum handicaps are Men 36 and Women 45. Only the first 130 entries are accepted. Entries with fees must be received by Monday 2nd November 2026, and players must hold a current GA Handicap and GA Golf ID number. Saturday is a drawn event from 10am to 12.30pm and Sunday is a shotgun start at 9am; players should report 20-30 minutes prior to their notified starting time. Entry is by electronic transfer to the club account.
