The 2026 Barmera Spring Classic is a three-day event at Barmera Golf Club running Friday 6th to Sunday 8th November 2026, open to members and visiting golfers (visitors are made temporary members on the competition days). The program comprises a Friday 4-Ball Better Ball warm-up over 9 or 18 holes ($10 per player, GST inclusive); a Saturday 18-hole handicap strokeplay competition with separate Men's (A, B, C grades net, plus a significant gross trophy) and Women's (grades dependent on entries) events, each $35 per player (GST inclusive), after which the five best gross scores are invited to a four-hole Skins playoff before dinner; and a Sunday Men's and Women's Stableford shotgun start at 9am ($35 per player, Barmera members $20, GST inclusive). An optional Saturday night two-course dinner is available for $50 (GST inclusive). Maximum handicaps are 36 for men and 45 for women; trophies are restricted to competitors holding a current GA Handicap and GA Golf ID number. Trophies are awarded to winners and runners-up in all events, with major trophies decided on net scores and the trophy pool value in each event determined by the number of player entries; only one major trophy per player. Ties are decided on countback, except the championship event which is decided by the match committee. Saturday is a drawn event from 10am to 12.30pm. Players must report 20-30 minutes prior to their notified starting time. Entries are limited to the first 130 and must be received by the Captain no later than Monday 2nd November 2026, with fees paid by electronic transfer to Barmera Golf Club (BSB 105 062, Account 710048540, reference surname).
