Disley Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by James Braid, established in 1889 and located on the Cheshire-Derbyshire border, approximately 5 miles from Stockport. The course combines parkland and moorland styles, offering panoramic views across the Peak District, Kinder Scout, and Manchester, with vistas extending to the Welsh mountains on clear days. The layout stretches from 5,000 to over 6,000 yards with multiple tee options, accommodating golfers of all abilities. As one of the UK's oldest inland courses, Disley has hosted professional tournaments, PGA events, and county matches throughout its history.
