Annual 4-person, 3-club scramble at Locust Hills Golf Club on the Locust Course. Shotgun start at 8:30 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Format: 4-person team scramble with the rule that one club must be a putter and no sharing of clubs. Pre-paid entry is $55 per person; pay day of is $60 per person. LHGC members pay $15 plus the cost of golf. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, a provided meal, and prizes. Live scoring is done through the LHGC app. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start. The event coordinator is Andrew Kitchen (937-265-5152, golf@locusthillsgc.com).

Locust Hills Golf Club is a 36-hole public course located in Springfield, OH, offering 36 holes of public golf across two beautifully maintained courses: Maple and Locust. The 18-hole Locust course features 6,576 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 and was designed by the Kitchen Family, opening in 1966. The Locust Course is slightly more mature and measures 4,631 yards in length from the forward tees. The Maple Course is more wide open with spacious greens that measure 4,664 yards in length from the forward tees and 6,752 yards from the back tees. The Maple golf course was designed by the Kitchen Family and opened in 1999. Combined, both layouts cover over 280 acres of gently rolling hills, with ample room available to hold in errant shots but with some subtle but tricky elevation changes. The facility was named the 2025 Best Course in Springfield by the Springfield News-Sun and the Greater Springfield Partnership, adding to its legacy that includes the 2007 Course of the Year award from the Ohio Golf Course Owners Association. Locust Hills has welcomed golfers in Springfield since 1966, and as it approaches its 60th anniversary in 2026, it continues the family tradition as a family-owned and operated facility.
