The MIX Cup is an open competition held at G8 Fuji Country Club in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture. The event is played over the front 9 holes using strokeplay scoring in a W-Peria format (a pairs betterball format where two players compete together with the better score counting). The competition is open to all golfers, with individual entries accepted. The entry fee of 9,890 JPY (tax included) covers the round, lunch (up to 1,430 JPY subsidy), and competition prizes. Participants must hold a handicap of 36 or less. The event runs from approximately 7:44 AM to 10:18 AM (OUT/IN). Prizes include various golf manufacturer products and gourmet food items such as meat and rice. All participants receive a participation gift (food items). The event is available for 1 or more players; groups of 2 or 3 may be combined with other parties. G8 Ambassador members receive a discount (2,000 JPY on weekdays, 3,500 JPY on weekends/holidays), but senior, ladies, and U-40 players do not receive the 500 JPY discount or gift. Entries can be made online or by phone for single-player bookings.

G8 Fuji Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course located in Fujiomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, situated on the gentle slopes of the southern foothills of Mount Fuji. Designed by Hirochika Tomizawa and opened in August 1985, the facility spans 1,380,000 square meters of hilly terrain. The course is characterized by a separation of pine and cedar trees, with Bentgrass No. 1 greens providing a consistent playing surface. The total yardage from the back tees is 6,852 yards, with the front nine measuring 3,377 yards and the back nine 3,475 yards. The front nine presents a mix of long holes and technical challenges, beginning with the 504-yard first hole, a gentle dogleg right that requires precise placement to avoid right-side bunkers. The third hole, a 339-yard uphill par-4, features a two-tiered green that slopes away from the back, demanding accurate approach shots. The sixth hole, the course's lowest point at 698 meters, is a 413-yard par-4 with a massive 85-yard bunker 200 yards from the tee, favoring long hitters. The ninth hole is a 437-yard uphill par-4 where out-of-bounds lines the left side, forcing players to attack from the right. The back nine introduces significant elevation changes and water hazards. The 16th hole is the course's longest at 674 yards from the back tees, a demanding downhill par-5 that requires low, accurate shots to avoid out-of-bounds on both sides. The 17th hole is a 164-yard par-3 that plays over water, with a creek running along the right and a pond in front of the two-tiered green. The 13th hole, a 524-yard par-5, plays downhill from the tee and requires careful navigation of bunkers on the second shot. The course features a driving range with 12 bays and a practice area, and all rounds are played as self-play with fairway woods permitted under most conditions.
