The Hakuho Open Competition is an individual open competition held at Hakuho Country Club, open to all golfers with individual participation welcome. Players can choose between self-play or caddie-assisted rounds. The event includes light breakfast (served 7:00–9:30), lunch with one soft drink, after-dessert, and prizes. Half-score aggregation is used for scoring, with results collected at the half. Players are free to disperse after play. Each monthly occurrence features a themed prize — for example, the September event (September 29) is the 'New Rice Cup' where all participants receive Koshihikari rice from Narita City. The entry fee of 3,500 JPY (4,000 JPY for the December 24 Christmas Cup) is included in the total price. Self-play costs 15,600 JPY and caddie-assisted costs 20,000 JPY for the September 29 event. Prizes are prepared for all participants (no participation gift).
