Instructor Lee Velez tailors each session to the participant's needs, focusing on swing fundamentals, short game skills, and course management. The clinics are open to all skill levels. Cost is $20 per session; annual pass holders attend free of charge. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling the pro shop at 540-443-1131.

The 9-hole Blacksburg course features 2,731 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. Designed by Ferdinand Garbin, ASGCA, the Blacksburg golf course opened in 2019. The course rating is 33.2 and it has a slope rating of 109. Located in Blacksburg, Virginia, the course is commonly referred to as "The Hill" and is managed as a municipal golf facility. The course features five sets of tee boxes and lush bent grass fairways and greens. The second green is the highest spot in Blacksburg. Practice facilities include an expanded putting green and a two-hole short game practice area. The course is designed for players of all skill levels and is open year-round to the public. Monday Night Madness is a regular tournament event where golfers can compete for prizes. In addition to traditional golf, the facility also offers Fling golf and lessons for that alternative format. The course serves the local community while welcoming visitors, with instruction available through both open clinics and private lessons.
