Senior 3-man Texas Scramble competition at Cochrane Castle Golf Club on Thursday 3rd September 2026. An 18-hole team competition played from the yellow tees (measured course) in Ambrose/scramble format with net stableford scoring. Open to members and affiliates who hold a current CONGU or WHS handicap and are over 50 years of age on the day of competition. Handicap limit is 24, proof of which may be required on the day. Entry fee is £45 per team. Tee times are available between 08:00 and 15:00, with a maximum of 150 entries. Entry can be made via the Scottish Golf app, the Scottish Golf website, or by bank transfer to the Cochrane Castle Seniors Section account. Prizes: 1st place receives three £100 vouchers, 2nd place receives three £75 vouchers, 3rd place receives three £50 vouchers, and 4th place receives three £25 vouchers. The restaurant at the club will be open from 07:30 for breakfast, tea, and coffee. The competition is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the local rules of Cochrane Castle Golf Club.
