The Seniors Three-Person Texas Scramble takes place on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at Cochrane Castle Golf Club. This 18-hole team event is played from the yellow tees using a Texas Scramble format with Stableford scoring. The competition is open to senior golfers (over 50 years of age on the day of competition) who are members of an affiliated golf club and hold a current CONGU/WHS handicap. The maximum handicap limit is 24. Entry fee is £45 per team. Tee times are available between 08:00 and 15:00, with a maximum of 150 entries. Entry and payment can be made via the Scottish Golf app or by bank transfer. The restaurant is open from 07:30 for breakfast, tea, coffee, and refreshments. Prizes include vouchers for the top four teams: 1st place receives three £100 vouchers, 2nd place three £75 vouchers, 3rd place three £50 vouchers, and 4th place three £25 vouchers. The competition is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the local rules of Cochrane Castle Golf Club.
