The Bandon Dunes Links Championship is a 72-hole four-ball strokeplay tournament played over two days (July 11-14, 2027) at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon. The event features 70 two-person teams competing across four different 18-hole championship courses (Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, and Old Macdonald) in a flighted competition based on team handicap indexes. Teams play 36 holes on each of the two competition days (July 12-13), with tee times in the morning and afternoon. The field is split into six flights based on aggregate team handicap indexes (using the July 1, 2026 World Handicap Index), with flight winners receiving a commemorative trophy and 1st/2nd place teams receiving gift cards. Players must hold a valid USGA handicap index; those without one are entered as scratch. The maximum allowed index is 19.5 per player (indexes over 19.5 are adjusted down). Handicap allowances follow USGA WHS guidelines for four-ball strokeplay (90% of handicap). Both men and women may enter, with men playing from green tees and women from orange tees. The package includes three nights lodging, four 18-hole rounds of golf, a welcome reception, two lunches, an awards dinner with drinks, and tournament gifts. Entry fee is $2,745 per person for shared double occupancy ($3,315 for a 2-bedroom/2-bath loft). Registration opens August 19 at 1:00pm PDT on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waitlist once the 70-team field is full. Optional daily skins games are available. Distance measuring devices (GPS/rangefinders) are permitted provided they do not calculate slope, wind, or elevation. USGA Rules govern with local modifications including divot relief, provisional ball options, and no-play zone rules.

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort comprises seven distinct links courses set along Oregon's rugged coastline. The original Bandon Dunes course, designed by David McLay Kidd and opened in 1999, ranks No. 7 among public courses. Pacific Dunes, designed by Tom Doak (2001), ranks No. 2. Additional courses include Bandon Trails (2005, Coore & Crenshaw, No. 13), Old Macdonald (2010, Doak & Urbina, No. 12), Sheep Ranch (2020, Coore & Crenshaw, No. 15), Bandon Preserve (2012, Coore & Crenshaw, par-3 with 13 holes), and Shorty's (2024, Whitman, Axland & Cutten, par-3 with 19 holes). The resort embraces Scottish links traditions with walking-only play. The setting features sweeping untamed shores, primeval grassy dunes rolling toward the sea, and dramatic coastal views. Designed to harmonize with the natural environment, the courses reveal varying difficulty and characteristics. The resort was envisioned by founder Mike Keiser, who sought to recreate the heritage and traditions of Scotland's ancient golf links. Beyond golf, Bandon Dunes offers comprehensive resort amenities including lodging, dining, a practice center, caddie services, and championship tournaments.
