The Bandon Dunes Links Championship

The Bandon Dunes Links Championship is a 72-hole, four-ball strokeplay tournament played over four consecutive days (July 11-14, 2027) at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon. The event features 70 two-person teams competing across four different 18-hole championship courses (Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, and Old Macdonald) in a flighted format based on team handicap indexes. Teams play two 36-hole rounds per day on consecutive days, with tee times starting between 7:00-8:30 a.m. on the first round and 1:00-2:30 p.m. on the second round. The field is split into six flights based on the aggregate total of team indexes, with a maximum handicap index of 19.5 per player (using the July 1, 2026 World Handicap Index, with 90% handicap allowance per USGA WHS guidelines for four-ball strokeplay). Flight winners receive a commemorative trophy, and 1st and 2nd place teams within each flight receive gift cards. The package includes three nights lodging, four 18-hole rounds of golf, a welcome reception with optional skins sign-up, two lunch bags, an awards dinner with drinks, and tournament gifts. Registration opens August 19 at 1:00 p.m. PDT on a first-come, first-served basis; the field fills quickly and a waitlist is maintained once the 70-team field is full. USGA rules govern play with local modifications including distance measuring devices (without slope/wind), divot relief in fairways, and sod seam relief. Men play from green tees and women from orange tees.
