Hickory Winter Open played at Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club on Tuesday 16th February 2027. This is a unique stableford competition where players use original hickory golf equipment, recreating the game as it was played in Somerset in 1882. Some loan sets are available upon enquiry. The event is open to both men and ladies. Full handicap allowance is applied. The entry includes a two-course dinner after the round. Tee times are available on the Red tees for both men and ladies. Signings open at 7:00 am on 1st December 2026 via online signup.

Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club is Somerset's oldest golf course, founded in 1882 and still playing on its original layout. The club has hosted numerous PGA, County, and Regional events throughout its history, including the 2024 Somerset County Championship. Notable characteristics include its links terrain and playable design, with specific pin placements that vary by hole to provide different challenges.
