The 2026 Anchorage Open is a 36-hole individual strokeplay event held on August 29th and 30th, 2026 at Anchorage Golf Course. It is Anchorage's premier amateur golf competition, open to the public. The event features Gross and Net scoring across four divisions: Championship Flight (handicap index 5.0 or below, or 10.0 or below with indication at registration), Men's, Men's Senior (60+), Men's Super Senior (70+), Women's, and Women's Senior. Players are flighted based on their current USGA Handicap Index (GHIN). Golfers without a GHIN handicap will be flighted after Round 1 based on score. Juniors (17 & under) are encouraged to play and will be flighted according to their handicap. The entry fee of $289.00 includes two rounds of golf with cart, a tee gift, prizes, Saturday lunch, and a Sunday banquet. Junior entry is $209.00. Pairings for Round 1 are emailed and posted online by Thursday evening, August 27th. Registration opens in July 2026 and is handled online via the club's web store. Participants must provide their GHIN number and indicate their desired flight at registration.

Anchorage Golf Course is a public championship course located on a hillside overlooking Anchorage, Alaska, offering breathtaking views of Cook Inlet, three mountain ranges, and Denali on clear days. The 18-hole layout stretches 6,600 yards with rolling, tree-lined fairways and well-guarded, undulating greens.
