The 2026 Anchorage Open is a 36-hole Gross and Net Stroke Play event held on August 29th and 30th, 2026 at Anchorage Golf Course. The competition is open to all amateur golfers and features multiple divisions: Women's, Women's Senior (60+), Men's, Men's Senior (60+), and Men's Super Senior (70+). Players are flighted based on their USGA Handicap Index (GHIN). Those with a handicap of 5.0 or below are placed in the Championship Flight; players with a GHIN of 5.1-10.0 may request entry into the Championship Flight. Golfers without a GHIN handicap will be flighted after Round 1 based on their score. Juniors are encouraged to play and will be flighted according to their handicap. The champion is determined by the lowest two-day gross score within each division. Registration opens in July 2026.

During summer months, extended daylight allows play from as early as 5am to after midnight. Anchorage Golf Course has been recognized as a premier wedding and event venue in Alaska, offering natural mountain backdrops and facilities for receptions and gatherings of up to 300 people.
