The 2026 Radyr H S Colt Cup AM is a 36-hole individual strokeplay competition held on Sunday 13th June 2027 on the Radyr Course at Radyr Golf Club, Cardiff. The event is open to men with a maximum handicap index of 9.4. Players must hold a WHS handicap and have at least 6 scores on their WHS record within the previous 12 months to be eligible for prizes. The competition offers a 95% handicap allowance. Entry fee is £30.00 for visitors (£10.00 for members), which includes sandwiches between rounds. Morning and afternoon tee times are available, with afternoon starts 5 hours after morning times. The field is limited to 72 players, with a handicap ballot if entries exceed this number. Entry closes on 4th June at 23:59, with tee times sent on 5th June. This is a Glamorgan County Golf Union Order of Merit event. Prizes are awarded to the top 5 overall gross scores, with separate best net and runner-up prizes for morning and afternoon sessions. In the event of a tie for the Colt Cup, a playoff is played on the 1st hole until a winner is determined; all other ties are decided by countback. No refunds are issued after the closing date.

Established in 1902, Radyr Golf Club is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in South Wales. Designed by the legendary Harry S Colt, one of golf's greatest architects, the course has been described as "One of Colt's Little Jewels." It is one of only four Harry S Colt courses in South Wales. Located in rural parkland near Cardiff, Radyr offers magnificent views overlooking the City of Cardiff and the Bristol Channel. The course features gentle undulations across its parkland setting, creating visually appealing holes while presenting a challenging test for golfers of all standards. The course is renowned for its excellent putting surfaces. The layout provides a stern examination of golf technique despite its scenic beauty. Radyr has hosted numerous National and County events, including the Welsh National PGA Championship in 2015. The club has been ranked 23rd in Wales in Golf World's Top 100 Courses in Wales and 79th in their Top 100 parkland courses in Great Britain and Ireland. It has twice been shortlisted for Wales Golf Club of the Year, reflecting its standing within Welsh golf.
