The Men's Fourball Better Ball Open is a men's open competition held at Radyr Golf Club on the Radyr Course from the White tees on Friday 7th May 2027. The event is played as a betterball stableford competition with a 75% handicap allowance and a maximum playing handicap of 28 for all players. Players must hold a WHS handicap to be eligible to win a prize. All players, including visitors, must have 6 scores on their WHS record within the previous 12 months (May 7th 2026 to May 6th 2027) to be able to win prizes; winners' WHS records will be checked before publishing results, and any players without the required 6 scores would not be able to win a prize. The entry fee is £35.00 per visitor (required on entry). Members pay £10.00 per member (required on entry). If a member brings a guest, the member pays the member fee plus an optional visitor fee of £20.00. An optional £4.00 per team fee is available for members. Food is not included in the entry fee. Signups open at 7:30 pm on 1st February 2027.

Established in 1902, Radyr Golf Club is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in South Wales. Designed by the legendary Harry S Colt, one of golf's greatest architects, the course has been described as "One of Colt's Little Jewels." It is one of only four Harry S Colt courses in South Wales. Located in rural parkland near Cardiff, Radyr offers magnificent views overlooking the City of Cardiff and the Bristol Channel. The course features gentle undulations across its parkland setting, creating visually appealing holes while presenting a challenging test for golfers of all standards. The course is renowned for its excellent putting surfaces. The layout provides a stern examination of golf technique despite its scenic beauty. Radyr has hosted numerous National and County events, including the Welsh National PGA Championship in 2015. The club has been ranked 23rd in Wales in Golf World's Top 100 Courses in Wales and 79th in their Top 100 parkland courses in Great Britain and Ireland. It has twice been shortlisted for Wales Golf Club of the Year, reflecting its standing within Welsh golf.
