The 7th Annual Whiskey Creek Folds of Honor Charity Golf Tournament, presented by RAK Brewing, is a 2-person shamble (scramble) held at Whiskey Creek Golf Club on Monday, October 26, 2026, with an 11:00 AM shotgun start. The entry fee is $179 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, GPS, and range balls, plus food, drinks, and prizes. Individual player registration opens on September 15, 2026; players can register in the golf shop or call (301) 695-3899. The event supports Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members. Whiskey Creek Golf Club is located in Ijamsville, Maryland, situated at the end of a mile-long drive through forest and field. The course offers a secluded setting bordered by a high ridge of hardwoods and a winding, free-flowing creek. The property features diverse natural environments including springs, streams, stone walls, wetlands, rock outcroppings, broad meadows, and pine forests, with dramatic views of the Catoctin Mountains. The course was designed by architect J. Michael Poellot in collaboration with design consultant Ernie Els, a 2-time United States Open Champion. The layout takes full advantage of the spectacular natural setting and topography. The course includes a front nine and back nine configuration. The design incorporates the natural features throughout, creating a challenging and scenic golf experience that balances the landscape's dramatic terrain and water elements with playability across both nines.
