Whiskey Creek Golf Club

Whiskey Creek Golf Club is located in Ijamsville, Maryland, situated at the end of a mile-long drive through forest and field. The course offers a secluded setting bordered by a high ridge of hardwoods and a winding, free-flowing creek. The property features diverse natural environments including springs, streams, stone walls, wetlands, rock outcroppings, broad meadows, and pine forests, with dramatic views of the Catoctin Mountains.

The course was designed by architect J. Michael Poellot in collaboration with design consultant Ernie Els, a 2-time United States Open Champion. The layout takes full advantage of the spectacular natural setting and topography. The course includes a front nine and back nine configuration. The design incorporates the natural features throughout, creating a challenging and scenic golf experience that balances the landscape's dramatic terrain and water elements with playability across both nines.
