Wednesday Open Singles is an open individual stableford competition at Tramore Golf Club, part of the Ladies & Gent's Open Singles Winter Series running from October through March. The event is open to both men and ladies (open gender). Visitors pay a green fee of €35.00 to enter. Men must hold a handicap index of 28 or less, and ladies a handicap index of 36 or less (or be able to play to an equivalent standard). Entries are booked online via the club's BRS Golf Systems booking portal. Normal Golf Ireland dress code applies, and soft spikes only are permitted on the course.

Tramore Golf Club, located in Ireland's South East, is one of the country's oldest golf clubs, with golf played on the site since 1894. The club now features 27 holes of championship parkland golf, combining the historic Old Course with the newer Newtown Nine. The Old Course has established itself as a premier parkland layout in Ireland, while the Newtown Nine offers a challenging nine-hole alternative. The course features sand-based greens constructed to USGA standards, providing consistent playing conditions. Set within parkland terrain with stunning views, Tramore has hosted the Irish Close Championship on three occasions, demonstrating its championship credentials. The blend of traditional and modern design creates a distinctive golfing experience. The club offers comprehensive facilities including a practice area with short game, bunkers, and nets, a clubhouse bistro, bar, pro shop with coaching, and Trackman coaching facilities. On-site accommodation with six twin rooms is available for visitors. Tramore continues to host regular competitions and remains a popular golfing destination in Waterford.
