Yarra Bend Golf holds open competitions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the day from 7am until last tee off at 2pm. The competitions are open to anyone who holds an Official Golf Australia Handicap. Entry requires a $5 competition fee plus the daily green fee. Golfers can book their tee times online via the club's booking system. Yarra Bend Golf Membership is available for those who wish to play unlimited golf Monday to Friday, which waives the daily green fee.

The original course design was influenced by Vern Morcom, who worked closely with renowned architect Alistair Mackenzie. The course has been recently restored by expert design team Ogilvy Clayton Cocking Mead, with strategic plans for future upgrades.
