The Treetops Fall Charity Invitational is the 39th annual charity golf tournament held at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan, supporting scholarships for Otsego County graduates through the Treetops Resort Endowed Fund. The 2026 event runs October 4-6 as a three-day competition across the resort's courses (Fazio Premier, Smith Signature, and Jones Masterpiece). Format is a modified scramble: each team consists of 1 professional (or scratch amateur) and 3 amateurs. Net team scores are calculated by deducting 15% of combined amateur handicaps from the gross scramble score each day. Maximum allowable individual handicap is 18 for men and 27 for women. All players must submit a GHIN or GAM handicap for net scoring. Entry fees: $2,717 for a non-lodging team; $3,225 for a lodging team at Treetops Lodge; $3,060 for a lodging team at Treetops Inn; $3,676 for chalets or cottages. Entry includes 54 holes of golf over three days, two breakfasts, three lunches, two dinners, and entry into the skins pot. Registration is online via GolfGenius. The event is open to visiting non-member golfers.
