The Yokohama Pompadour Open Competition is a W-Paria format (double betterball) competition held on the front nine holes at Tojigaoka Marine Hills Golf Club. The event is open to visitors and non-members who can enter directly without needing a member introduction. Entry fee is 2,500 yen, plus a green fee of 13,100 yen (cart fee of 1,500 yen additional for four-bag players). The maximum handicap for entry is 18. Prizes are awarded to 1st through 10th place, with a flying prize (top score on each hole) competition. All participants receive freshly baked Pompadour bread as a participation gift. There is no post-round party. Cancellations made free of charge up to noon three days before the event date; cancellations after that incur a fee of 3,300 yen per person or 13,200 yen per group. Registration is accepted by phone at 0863-41-2311 (9:00-17:00).
