The Longniddry Golf Club Junior Open 2027 is a junior golf competition held on Thursday 22nd July 2027 at Longniddry Golf Course. Juniors who were under 18 years of age on 1 January 2027 may enter. The competition is open to both boys (maximum handicap of 36) and girls (maximum handicap of 36). Boys will play off the white tees and girls from the red tees. The format is medal (strokeplay) with a handicap allowance of 95%. This competition serves as a qualifying event for The Justin Rose Telegraph Junior Golf Championship, the finals of which are held in December at Quinta do Lago GC in Portugal. Categories include: Boys - Playing handicap 12 and under, Playing handicap 13 and above, Scratch winner, best net score under 14, overall handicap winner; Girls - best nett score.
