Thursday Tournament

The Thursday Tournament (Torsdagsturneringen) is a recurring weekly competition held at Groruddalen Golfklubb on Thursdays throughout the season. The tournament is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. Participants enter via the Gimmie app under club competitions. The competition runs in four handicap classes. On the first Thursday of each month, a team competition is played; all other Thursday rounds form part of an Eclectic competition for the season, where scores from multiple rounds are combined. To qualify for the Eclectic final at the end of the season, participants must have competed in at least four rounds. Prizes are awarded after each round, and there is also a draw prize for attendees present at the prize-giving. The club hopes coffee and waffles will be available at the pro shop after play.
