Thursday Tournament

The Thursday Tournament (Torsdagsturneringen) is a recurring individual strokeplay competition held every Thursday throughout the 2026 season at Groruddalen Golfklubb. The tournament is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members, and can be entered via the Gimmie app under club tournaments. Players compete in four handicap classes. The first Thursday of each month features a team competition, while the remaining Thursdays form an Eclectic tournament running through the season; to qualify for the season-ending Eclectic final, participants must have played at least four rounds. Weekly prize giving takes place after each round, and a lucky draw prize is available to those present at the prize ceremony. The tournament runs through the entire season. Additionally, a Senior Tournament is held on Mondays for players over 50, from 10:00 to approximately 13:00, also bookable via the Gimmie app.
