The SternGartl Iron-Man 2026 is a two-round individual stableford competition held on Saturday 22 August 2026 at Golfclub SternGartl. Players compete in gross and net point categories, with separate classifications for men and ladies. The best net player receives a traveling trophy. Two non-handicap rounds are played: the first round starts from 7:00 am with a regular starting order, and the second round begins at 1:40 pm after a short midday break, with the afternoon starting in reverse order of the morning gross results. Players tee off from the yellow tees (men) and red tees (ladies and juniors up to 14 years). Only a putter and irons from 3-iron through wedges are permitted; drivers, hybrids, and rescue clubs are not allowed — violation results in disqualification. E-trolleys are permitted; carts are only available in justified cases upon arrangement with the tournament organisation. Scores are recorded digitally via golf.at. The entry fee is €10. Guests must additionally pay the applicable green fee according to the club's green fee agreement. All additional costs including lunch, dinner, and beverages are the responsibility of the players. A shared dinner and prize-giving ceremony follows the second round from approximately 6:30 pm. Entries close on 21 August 2026 at 12:00 noon via golf.at. The event is open to all golfers including visiting non-members.
