Schachner Weinsberg Tournament Series 2026

The Schachner Weinsberg Tournament Series 2026 is a series of seven individual stableford competitions held at Golfclub Maria Taferl-Wachau throughout 2026. Each tournament also counts as a standalone one-day event. The series comprises two major tournaments (25 April, 11 October), a summer party (3 July), and four weekly tournaments (29 May, 19 June, 16 August, 18 September). For the overall series classification, the three best gross and net point scores from each tournament are added together, and at least four of the seven tournaments must be played to be eligible. Amateurs who are members of a club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Association (ÖGV) or a foreign national golf association are eligible to enter, with a maximum handicap of 54. Visitors (non-members) are welcome and can enter at the visitor rate. For weekly tournaments, the visitor entry fee is €134, which includes the green fee and tournament fee; members pay €89. Prizes are awarded to the top three gross and net finishers (ladies and gentlemen), as well as Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin (on each par 3), and Nearest to the Bottle (dogleg hole 5). Major tournaments include an evening meal with live music and grill, while weekly tournaments include catering from Hotel Schachner with regional specialties. Start times are 11:00 for major tournaments and 13:00 for weekly tournaments (Kanonenstart format). Registration is handled through the club.
