The Schachner Weinsberg Tournament Series 2026 is a multi-event amateur stableford competition held at Golfclub Maria Taferl-Wachau. The series comprises seven tournaments on the following dates: 25 April, 29 May, 19 June, 3 July, 16 August, 18 September, and 11 October 2026. The 3 July, 16 August, and 18 September events are classified as Weekly Tournaments with a 13:00 start, while the 25 April and 11 October events are Major Tournaments with an 11:00 start. The 11 October event includes an evening meal, live music, and a DJ. Entry is open to amateur golfers who are members of a club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Federation (ÖGV) or an affiliated foreign national golf federation, holding a maximum handicap of 54.0. Scoring is strokeplay stableford. For the overall series classification, at least four of the seven tournaments must be played, with the best three gross and net scores from each tournament counting towards the total. Each individual tournament also counts as a standalone one-day event. Entry fees vary: for members, the weekly tournament fee is €55 (including refreshments), and the major tournament fee is €89 (including evening meal). For guests (visitors), the weekly tournament fee is €100 (including green fee, tournament fee, and regional delicacies), and the major tournament fee is €134 (including green fee, tournament fee, and evening meal). An accompanying person can join for an additional €35 (weekly) or €55 (major). Prizes include Sachpreise (prizes in kind) for the top gross and net scores in each tournament, with the overall series winner receiving €700 in value, second place €300, and third place €300. Additional prizes include Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin competitions.
