Gentlemens Pairs Competition at Prestbury Golf Club on Thursday 17th June 2027. This is a Gents Four Ball Betterball competition played as 2-player teams. Tee times start from 07:30 with entry fee of £90 per person (visitor rate). The event includes a bacon barm and coffee on arrival, a welcome goody bag, and a £2,500 prize fund. Prizes are awarded for Top 5 Scores, Nearest Pin, Longest Drive, and Twos. Players must be bona fide amateur members of recognised golf clubs. Proof of handicap will be required from all prize winners. The maximum playing handicap for the Men's Open category is 28 (after adjustments). Prizes will be published on the club website; there is no formal presentation, but winners may collect prizes on the day or have them sent via email on the Monday following the event. Online booking is available through the club's booking facility with credit/debit card payment.

Founded in 1920, the course was designed by the renowned Harry Colt and is ranked 83rd in England's Top 100 courses, with recent recognition as fourth in the Cheshire region. The layout takes full advantage of the site's dramatic elevation changes and hilly terrain, creating an undulating course that challenges golfers of all levels. The sandy subsoil ensures exceptional drainage throughout the year. The course features recently refurbished bunkers and is described as offering an excellent balance between challenge and physical beauty.
