Seniors Mens (55+) Pairs Competition at Prestbury Golf Club on Thursday 13th May 2027. A senior men's pairs event (55+) played as a four-ball betterball competition. Entry fee is £90 per player, payable online via the club's booking system. A welcome goody bag is provided, with bacon barm and coffee on arrival at 07:30. The event features a £2500 prize fund with prizes for top 5 scores, nearest pin, longest drive, and twos. Post-round meal of steak pie, chips and peas is included. Competitors must be bona fide amateur members of recognised golf clubs with a maximum playing handicap of 28 (after adjustments). Proof of handicap is required from all prize winners. The competition is open to visiting non-member golfers. Tee times are available from 07:30 through 16:10, with teams of two booking each slot.

Founded in 1920, the course was designed by the renowned Harry Colt and is ranked 83rd in England's Top 100 courses, with recent recognition as fourth in the Cheshire region. The layout takes full advantage of the site's dramatic elevation changes and hilly terrain, creating an undulating course that challenges golfers of all levels. The sandy subsoil ensures exceptional drainage throughout the year. The course features recently refurbished bunkers and is described as offering an excellent balance between challenge and physical beauty.
