Haydock Park Golf Club

Newton-le-Willows, Greater Manchester, England

Haydock Park Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the UK, established in 1877. The course was designed by the renowned James Braid and is characterised by lush, tree-lined fairways across relatively flat parkland terrain. The course presents a stern but fair test suitable for golfers of all abilities. Its design features make it an engaging challenge, with the mature trees lining the fairways creating a distinctive aesthetic while adding strategic difficulty. The relatively flat landscape of the parkland setting allows for good walking conditions while maintaining playability for varying skill levels. Beyond the golf course itself, Haydock Park offers comprehensive clubhouse facilities including dining options and views overlooking the 18th green. The club welcomes both members and visitors and provides additional amenities including a professional shop and coaching centre. The venue also serves as a location for hospitality events and celebrations, with dedicated function spaces available for various occasions.
