The Newton Ram Open is a men's individual medal (strokeplay) competition held at Haydock Park Golf Club on Sunday 27th June 2027. The event is open to visiting golfers with a handicap allowance of 95%. Entry fee is £20.00 per visitor (members pay £10.00). Sign-ups open at 12:00 am on 13th January 2027. Tee time is from the White tees. Visitors are welcome to book and compete; dress code and pace of play requirements apply.

Haydock Park Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the UK, established in 1877. The course was designed by the renowned James Braid and is characterised by lush, tree-lined fairways across relatively flat parkland terrain. The course presents a stern but fair test suitable for golfers of all abilities. Its design features make it an engaging challenge, with the mature trees lining the fairways creating a distinctive aesthetic while adding strategic difficulty.
