The Gran Final of the Race to Honor 2026 ranking series, held at Real Club de Golf La Herrería on Saturday 5 September 2026. The event is open to all male and female golfers, both members and non-members, with an active licence and a handicap of 28 or less for non-members (36 or less for members). The competition consists of one round of 18 holes played as individual stableford, in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the club's local rules. Players are divided into two categories based on their exact world handicap: Category 1 for handicaps of 18.4 or lower, and Category 2 for handicaps of 18.5 or higher. Each player competes with a playing handicap calculated at 95% of their registered RFEG handicap, with a maximum playing handicap of 26.4. The top 24 players in each category from the regular phase ranking qualify for this Gran Final. The final classification combines the stableford points from the final round with bonus points earned from the regular phase ranking (8 points for 1st, 6 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th and 5th, 2 for 6th to 10th). In the final, tee boxes are fixed at (59) for men and (49) for women, with no free choice. Ties in the final are resolved in favour of the player with the lower playing handicap, then by regular phase ranking position. Prizes are awarded to the winner of each category and to the top five players in each category. Entries are made through the Clapphouse app, closing at 10:00 on Tuesday 2 September 2026, three days before the event. Electronic scorecards are used via the club-approved app.
