The Race to Honor 2026 is a ranking series of individual stableford competitions held at Real Club de Golf La Herrería. This specific event on 1 August 2026 is open to all amateur golfers, both men and women. Non-member visitors must hold a valid handicap of 28 or less; club members must have a handicap of 36 or less. Players are divided into two categories based on their exact World Handicap: Category 1 for handicaps of 18.4 or lower, and Category 2 for handicaps of 18.5 or higher. Each player competes in their category throughout the series. Entries are made via the Clapphouse app, opening 10 days before the event and closing at 10:00 three days prior to the competition. Prizes are awarded to the first and second place finishers in each category. The maximum playing handicap applied is 26.4, with a 95% handicap allowance. Electronic scorecards are used via the approved app. The event is an 18-hole individual stableford competition. Players can choose from tee markers (59), (53), (49), and (35) at registration, with the maximum playing handicap capped at 26.4. If more players register than available places, club members take priority, with remaining spots allocated by best handicap at the closing date.
