Haydock Park Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the UK, established in 1877. The course was designed by the renowned James Braid and is characterised by lush, tree-lined fairways across relatively flat parkland terrain. The course presents a stern but fair test suitable for golfers of all abilities. Its design features make it an engaging challenge, with the mature trees lining the fairways creating a distinctive aesthetic while adding strategic difficulty. The relatively flat landscape of the parkland setting allows for good walking conditions while maintaining playability for varying skill levels.
