Paul McGinley Junior Cup

The Paul McGinley Junior Cup 2026 is a junior golf tournament held at the North Course, Quinta do Lago, from 20th to 22nd August 2026. The event welcomes talented young golfers with an official handicap for three days of golf, competition, and experience. The schedule includes an optional practice round on 20th August, with tournament play on 21st and 22nd August. Start time is 08:00. Age categories are Under 18 (players born 2008-2009), Under 16 (born 2010-2011), Under 14 (born 2012-2013), and Under 12 (born 2014-2015). Entry fee is €150 for all age categories, which includes a manual trolley. An optional practice round is available for €30, subject to booking availability. Players must hold an official handicap: those affiliated with the Portuguese Golf Federation (FPG) will have their Handicap Index used from the FPG server, while players from other federations must present a valid Handicap Certificate. It is the responsibility of each player to ensure their Handicap Index is fully updated before the tournament. Registration deadline is 13th August 2026. Entries are booked online via the Quinta do Lago shop. The tournament is hosted by Paul McGinley and is open to boys and girls.
