Civil Protection Charity Golf Tournament

The Civil Protection Charity Golf Tournament is an annual charity golf event held at Quinta do Lago's South Course on 23 August 2026. The tournament raises funds to support firefighters and civil protection teams working to protect the Algarve and Southern Alentejo during wildfire season. The event is played as a 4-Player Shamble format with a shotgun start at 08:30 (check-in from 07:30). All players tee off on each hole, and the best drive is selected before each player continues with their own ball. The best two nett Stableford scores count on each hole. A minimum of four drives per player is required. Ties are decided by countback over the last 9, 6, 3, 2, and final hole. Handicap limits are Men – 28 and Ladies – 36. Team entry (€1,000) includes participation in the 18-hole tournament, buffet lunch at the Clubhouse North & South, and the prize presentation. A buffet lunch-only option is available for €100 per person. Bookings are opening soon.
