Tiago Sousa Memorial Golf Tournament

The 4th annual Tiago Sousa Memorial Golf Tournament is a charity golf event held on 19 August 2026 at the Quinta do Lago South Course. The tournament is in honor of Tiago Sousa, a former member of the Paul McGinley Golf Academy and Junior Club who tragically died in an accident in March 2022. The event is a family-friendly competition where parents play with their children (or grandparents with grandchildren), with no age restriction on the child participant, provided the child is eligible for the Paul McGinley Academy event if adopted. All proceeds support the Associação Tiago Sousa Memorial and the 'Tiago Sousa Golf Project' in collaboration with the Portuguese Golf Federation. Entry is €85.00 per adult or child golfer (plus a small service fee), which includes tournament entry and access to the family BBQ afterwards. A separate BBQ ticket is available for €55.00 (€27.50 for children under 12). Bookings are handled online via the Tiago Sousa Golf website.
