Men's Open Individual 2027 at Whitchurch Golf Club (Cardiff), held on Sunday 23 May 2027. This is an individual medal (strokeplay) competition open to men aged 18 and over. Maximum playing handicap limit is 24. Entry opens from 1 January 2027. The event includes a bacon roll and coffee. Tee times run from 07:30 to 14:42. Entry fee is £17.50 for members and £35.00 for visitors. Bookings are made through the club's online booking system.

Whitchurch Golf Club lies three and a half miles north of Cardiff city centre on elevated ground with panoramic views overlooking the city, Penarth Head, Somerset Coast, and Bristol Channel. The course is sheltered to the north by the Wenallt Hills, with the historic 13th-century Castell Coch providing a picturesque backdrop. Founded in 1914, Whitchurch has developed into a respected parkland layout noted for its challenging Par 3 and Par 4 holes. The course features fast, tricky greens and strategic bunkering designed to penalise wayward shots. The amateur course record stands at 63, while the professional record of 62 is held by Ian Woosnam. The course is consistently maintained to high standards and offers excellent facilities including a clubhouse, pro shop, and practice areas. Visitors and societies are welcomed, and the venue regularly hosts open competitions and corporate events throughout the year.
