Bechtel Cup 2026

The Bechtel Cup 2026 is an 18-hole individual Stableford competition held at the Kurhessischer Golfclub Oberaula-Bad Hersfeld on Sunday 16 August 2026, starting at 12:30. The event is organised by Hotel Bechtel in Zella, Fleischerei Bechtel, and Weingut Bechtel. Open to all members of clubs affiliated to the DGV or respective national golf federation who hold amateur status. Tee off: men from the yellow tees, ladies from the red tees. Entry fee is €25 for adults and €15 for youths, plus the day's green fee and an additional €10 for guests. Maximum 100 participants. Registration closes on Saturday 15 August 2026 at 12:00. The tournament uses the World Handicap System and is played under the Official Golf Rules (including the Amateur Status) of the Deutscher Golfverband e.V. and the club's local rules. Prizes are awarded for 1st Brutto Ladies, 1st Brutto Gentlemen, 1st-3rd Net categories A and B, Nearest to the Pin (hole 17, ladies and gentlemen separately), Longest Drive (hole 1, ladies and gentlemen separately), and all participants receive a prize. The event includes tasting stations throughout the course, wine tasting on hole 6, drinks on hole 2 and tee 17, a lunch package at the start, and a warm snack at the finish. Start times can be requested from Saturday 15 August 2026 at 17:00 or via SMS service. The event concludes with the prize-giving and results display.
