The Opening Day Anniversary 50th Cup (開場日記念 50th cup) is an open competition held monthly at Kikugawa Country Club. The event takes place on the 17th of each month (April through March). Eligibility is open to all visitors on the day. The competition uses W-Peria format (half-aggregated stableford scoring), with rankings determined by combining out-and-in scores. In case of tied net scores, gross score and then seniority determine the ranking. Men use white tees, women use red tees, with special tee allowances for men aged 70-74 (grey) and 75+ (red). Prizes include facility usage discount vouchers for future play, awarded to top positions (1st through 10th, 20th-190th, and best ball/best gross). Winners receive prizes upon leaving or by post if they have already departed. No formal prize ceremony is held. Entry fees vary by month and booking type (caddie-assisted or self-play). The competition follows JGA rules and local rules.
