The Yamayuri Cup is an open competition at Hakone Kurakake Golf Course, open to all golfers. The event uses the New Peria scoring system (a stableford variant) on the first half of the course, with a double par cut and a maximum score of 18 per hole. Entry is by phone, with a deadline one week before the event. All participants receive a participation prize, and numerous luxury prizes are available. The event is held on the first Tuesday of each month (January through December), with the January event scheduled for January 6, 2027. Entry fees vary by month: 8,500 JPY for visitors in January, 9,500 JPY in March, and 10,500 JPY from April to December. Member fees are lower (7,500 JPY for January members). There is no post-event party; only prize presentation is held. Entry changes or cancellations must be made at least one week in advance. The course is an 18-hole, 6,305-yard, par 72 course with views of Mount Fuji and Lake Ashinoko.
